Owned by The Porterhouse Brewing Company who’s high standards in beer brewing are reflected in the excellent quality of each room. All the rooms are dedicated to a guest international beer which The Porterhouse Brewing Company regards as some of the greatest beers in the world.

Just 30 minutes drive from Dublin’s city centre and short walk from the DART station, the Porterhouse Inn is ideally situated. Whether it’s golf, walking trips or just a relaxing break.

The Porterhouse Inn has 2 bars both of which serve the excellent range of Porterhouse beers. These include three stouts, three ales, three lagers with occasional seasonal brews throughout the year. Enjoy the traditional atmosphere of our front bar or our beer garden which faces on to the seafront, weather permitting!

In the restaurant you can enjoy casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere with an excellent food menu including delicious pizzas from our wood burning oven. Afterwards you can “chill out” in the Bacbar with live music and excellent club sounds ‘til late.

Bray is the gateway to the garden county of Ireland. There are magnificent gardens and stately homes to be discovered, including Kilruddery House and gardens, Powerscourt Estate and waterfall, Mount Usher gardens and Avondale House, once the residence of Charles Stuart Parnell. There are also many woodland and mountain walks from as close as Bray Head to the famous Wicklow Way.

There are over 25 courses to choose from seaside and traditional link courses to parkland and breathtaking hillside courses. Including Druid’s Glen, Powerscourt, Glen of the Downs, Rathsallagh, Tulfarris and the European Club to name but a few. Tee times and transport to and from the golf club can be organised by our reception.
